Neshima, under the auspices of Artists and Musicians for Israel (A.M.I.), was founded by seasoned Jewish educator and musician Yehudah Katz.Created as an educational organization that utilizes music as a tool to explore Jewish identity and foster unity among Jewish youth, Neshima offers various programs to different audiences.
In an effort to halt the crisis of fading Jewish identity among young adults in Israel in an original and influential way, our programs are designed and run by talented artists who incorporate their creativity and background to reach their audience. At the same time, our workshop staffers are not just performing artists but have expierence as educators, enabling them to ensure a more meaningful and quality workshop. As they are regularly involved with youth, our educators constantly pay attention to what speaks to young people and seek a common language with them.
