Me and My Nation

I am part of the Jewish nation,
Of one G-d and only one
Gave the Torah and light
I am part of the Jewish nation,
I am a brother to all the Jews
I belong in Yerushalayim
With the one and only Hashem
Hashem is the unique creator
He made a pure and holy land
All powerful and fearful are his Dinim,
But with rachamim you couldn’t be more pure.
The lifeblood of the nation is in its Torah
All light and sweet it is long and deep
The neshama needs the Torah’s hidden secrets
All spiritual and longing for Olam Haba
Land of Hope

Land of Peace
It’s the land where (my) dreams come true
Hearts all filled with care,
Love of Israel is what we have to share,
Faith and hope / and trust in Hashem
Holiness / from Avraham
And the light from Isaac
Together we are all Israel,
We are One Am Yisrael
Oh Israel please don’t leave us
You’re in our minds and burning our hearts
We’ve got the spark that unites us
Together we will shine our light upon the world
